What Size Misting Pump Do I Need?

How is misting pump size measured?

Pumps are rated in GPM, or gallons per minute, which describes how much water the pump can push at high pressure. More GPM means the pump can supply more nozzles at once without the pressure dropping off.

The two common sizes for ceiling fan systems are 1/4 GPM and 1/2 GPM. The number that matters most for you is not the GPM itself but the fan count it supports, since that is what keeps every nozzle at a true 1000 PSI.
