What exactly comes in the setup kit?

The $249 setup kit is the connective tissue of the system. It includes the high-pressure line that carries pressurized water, stainless anti-drip nozzles that atomize it into fog, brass fittings that seal every joint, and the mounting hardware to secure it all in place.

The stainless anti-drip nozzles matter more than they sound. They stop the system from dribbling when it starts and stops, so you get clean fog instead of drips, and stainless holds up to Arizona's hard water better than cheaper materials.

What else do I need for a complete system?

The kit connects things, but two other parts make the fog. You need the Luxaire Ceiling Misting Fan (14 inch at $1,299, 18 inch at $1,349, or 24 inch at $2,099) and a high-pressure pump to build the 1000 PSI.

Choose the pump by fan count. The 1/4 GPM pump (about $1,535) covers up to three fans, and the 1/2 GPM pump (about $1,899) covers four to six. Fan plus pump plus kit is the full DIY system.

Can I really install it myself?

Yes, that is what the DIY kit is built for. A handy homeowner with basic tools can mount the Luxaire into a covered patio roof, run the high-pressure line, thread the brass fittings, and set the stainless nozzles using the included hardware.

The utility connections are the ones you already have. The system runs on a standard 110V outlet and a regular garden-hose water source, so there is no special electrical or plumbing work for a typical install.

Why buy a matched kit instead of piecing parts together?

A misting system only makes dry fog if every part holds 1000 PSI. Mismatched fittings, undersized line, or low-grade nozzles bleed off pressure and leave you with coarse mist and wet furniture.
