What the Luxaire fan actually is

The Luxaire is a ceiling fan designed to live outdoors on a covered patio, ramada, or porch. Instead of clipping a cheap misting hose around a standard fan, it has an integrated 1/4 inch misting ring built into the housing, so the fog is thrown evenly across the blade wash rather than dripping off a garden accessory.

The housing is powder coated and outdoor rated, with designer finishes so it looks like a real light fixture and not a shop tool. It runs on standard 110V power and a garden-hose water source, which keeps installation simple for most Phoenix homes.

The Luxaire comes in three blade spans, priced as the fan by itself. Pick the size by how much patio you are covering and how high your roof is. Bigger blades move more air and cover a wider footprint.

How it becomes a complete cooling system

The fan alone will move air and hold the misting ring, but the cooling comes from real high pressure. To get true 1000 PSI dry fog you add the high-pressure pump and the setup kit. The pump pushes water through the nozzles hard enough to atomize it into a fine mist that flash-evaporates before it lands on you.

One 1/4 GPM pump (about $1,535) covers up to three fans, and a 1/2 GPM pump (about $1,899) covers four to six fans. The $249 setup kit includes the high-pressure line, stainless anti-drip nozzles, brass fittings, and mounting hardware. Fan plus pump plus kit is a complete DIY system you can run yourself.

Why 1000 PSI matters in Phoenix
